I still say that your "STOPIT" logo strongly resembles the presentation of the third digit of the hand. Knowing this tribe, I cannot dismiss the liklihood that that is intentional ... ;-)

@Fraser Gartshore: Oft spielst du (bzw. "spielen Sie") ja auch in Kirchen mal Boogie oder ähnliches. Kommen da eigentlich schon mal verärgerte Kommentare, z.B. von zufällig anwesenden Kirchenbesuchern? (Wie auch immer: ich finde, Freude sollte immer Platz haben in einem Gotteshaus ...;)

Rundum klasse!! (Die Orgel mit ihrem warmen Klang - und die Improvisation ebenso!) Ein dickes Danke für solche Videos, die durchaus mal ein Stück vom Abend retten ...:-)

Wow! Diese wohlige Wärme im Klang tut gut! Die Orgel hat eine gütige Seele ... ;) Eine solche Wärme hab ich bei der Rieger-Orgel Marienstatt immer vermisst: Ich hatte sie immer als "hart, kalt" empfunden (damals als Schüler dort in den 70ern, als auch heute bei deinen/Ihren Videos aus Marienstatt), und dachte immer "na ja, wohl nur ne Frage der Register-Wahl?" Diese Gackenbach-Orgel mag vielleicht nicht so bombastisch-vielfältig sein (?), aber sie hat "Seele" :-) Toll! (Angemerkt: Ich bin kein Experte - ist nur mein subjektives Empfinden! Und ja: die Marienstatt-Rieger-Orgel ist fraglos super! ;-)

Was ist denn mit der „Dokumentation“ bzgl. der Orgel in Marienstatt? Du wolltest doch die Entwicklung der Orgelerweiterung begleiten…

That is a great and honorable idea. It is just that I see a major caveat - an organ which is on the way to cease to exist is very likely not in prime condition. So you have to fight with individual pipes in a rank out of tune (so you cannot simply fix it with post-processing), pipes which doesn't work at all, are out of intonation etc. To get a high quality result (the sampleset) you would have also to invest in a major maintenance first. Or do that yourself if you have the skills.

OOps, I meant the Percy Fletcher piece as if you probably had gathered.

I have heard this piece before, but seeing you tackling it sent shivers up my spine. I don't know if it was the tuba effect, or the Italian organ. You are a brave guy for sight reading that piece for your show. Wow! Knocked my socks off (not really, we don't wear socks here in Thailand). But, thanks; a wonderful piece.

Moin, Ich wollte mal fragen ob die Partituren zu Piping hot noch erhältlich sind. Ich habe vor einer ganzen Weile die Noten zur Elegy erstanden und gerade meine, mitlerweile sehr ramponierte Kopie gefunden. Allerdings finde ich die Datei nicht mehr. Gibt es noch möglichkeiten die zu bekommen? Beste Grüße aus dem Norden😁

This is a great idea, how many hours of work are necessary to sample one average organ with let us say 20 stops? Let us say that the stops are all easily reachable. Thanks for your attention!
